To Be Read… a list
I haven’t finished many books over the last year – unless rereading the Throne of Glass series counts? I mean, I still read, I just don’t fly through books like I did when I was sixteen. So, here’s a few books that I’ve been dying to read for quite some time.

Milk & Honey – Rupi Kaur
I’ll be honest, I’ve flipped through a few pages of this cute little book, but I’ve yet properly sit down and read it cover to cover. It’s a book I’ve been hearing about – and certainly seeing on aesthetic Instagram pages – for quite a long time. I haven’t read a poetry book before, but poetry is something I’ve been dabbling in lately, and I’m very excited to read it.
Kingdom of Ash – Sarah J. Maas
If you don’t know, Kingdom of Ash is the 7th and final instalment in the epic Throne of Glass series by my favourite Sarah J. Maas. Admittedly, this series is my absolute die-hard favourite, and this book came out almost a year ago; I’m slightly ashamed. But I know this book will be just as incredible as the previous novels, but I’m also scared for it to all end. However, I do urge anyone who loves fantasy to give this series a chance – I promise you will not regret it.
The Great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Another embarrassment of mine: I’ve never really read a classic. The closest I’ve ever gotten is The Outsiders, which I read for English in Year 10, and according to some friends that’s really not close at all. One of those friends told me The Great Gatsby is a good, easy read to start with. It sounds perfect for me – I haven’t seen the movie; all I know is someone dies, but I don’t even know who so really, I’ve done well, and I’m very excited to dive into this book.
Call Me by Your Name – Andre Aciman
Finally, I’ve got Call Me by Your Name on this list. I’ve had my hands on this book for a couple months, and I’ve only heard great things about it. I’ve seen the trailer of the movie, and various interviews about it (I can’t wait for the kissing scene), but I haven’t seen the movie, so I’m going into it pretty clueless as well. Apparently, a sequel is hot in tow as well so it’s about time I pick this one off the shelf – it’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a good contemporary romance.
